Fitness Assessment And Goals

fitness plan

The fitness plans we create for our clients start with an assessment. It’s helpful for us to gain a better understanding of where you are in your physical performance before we transition into a workout routine. This evaluation focuses on strength, endurance, body fat and a few more areas. The information we collect helps our trainers determine where to start your training and allows us to monitor your progress.

After the initial assessment we review your goals. We like to gauge our client expectations so that everyone is on the same page. Collectively, we want to set realistic goals that will encourage you as we move through each workout routine.

Outlining A Fitness Plan

Once both parties have a good idea of your goals, it’s time to move forward with your workout plan. Our personal trainers will develop a custom fitness plan to meet your needs. Depending on your goals, the plan may start with cardio, weights or simply stretches. Where we begin is fully dependant on where you are in your physical fitness.

When you train by yourself it’s easy to go to the gym and get into a routine. In doing so, you are likely to perform the same exercises each time you visit. Unfortunately your body will adapt to these exercises and you won’t reap as many benefits because of the lack of change. One key component to any fitness plan is to keep your body guessing, responding and developing. These changes can come in the form of increasing the intensity of your sets and new exercises to hit different parts of the same muscles.
